The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Journey of mediocrity......The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The chronicles gradually seeps into becoming another Harry Potter. The boys are all 22 with stubble and the girls have knee-length hair and are the front cover of the latest Vogue. This film has a promising opening with Edmund, played by Skandar Keynes, and Lucy (Georgie Henley) along with Eustace, Son of Rambow's Will Poulter. It is good stuff on paper and screen as the special effects are fairly fairy tale. The ending, they squeeze in a battle with an island and then a confrontation with "Jesus" sorry, the talking lion, voiced by Liam Neeson. Simple stuff, good on paper, and portrayed on screen in a decent manner but it doesn't have the charm of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

3/5
